For individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset, this service supports the planning and launching of a small business or microenterprise—defined as a business with five or fewer employees, including the owner. Individuals also receive help acquiring necessary permits, certifications, and insurance. There is continued support in navigating how self-employment impacts benefits.
